Meet Dr. Michael Falola

Dr. Michael Falola

Michael Falola, M.D.,M.P.H., is a distinguished psychiatrist and academic professional known for his exceptional clinical, educational and research background. He completed his Psychiatry residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2018 with several training, travel and research awards including inaugural UAB Engel Scholar Award in Psychiatry, 1st positions in American Psychiatric Association Annual Mind Games, APA Research Colloquium for Junior Investigators, American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology Clinical Trials Workshop in Psychopharmacology, and UAB Annual Research Symposium.

Dr Falola has served as a Principal and Sub-investigator at UAB and Tilda Research. His research interests encompass clinical trials, psychopharmacology, depression, treatment-resistant depression, suicide, Alzheimer’s disease, and predictive data analytics. He has published a textbook in the field of psychiatry and multiple research papers.
